Does Cerave Hydrating Cleanser Remove Makeup

Is my CeraVe hydrating cleanser enough to remove makeup or should I be using makeup remover/mineral oil or something earlier cleansing at night?

I don't wear a lot of make upwardly: a light dusting of loose powder and blush. When I feel the demand to comprehend upwards a blemish or 2 (which has been lately...grr) I utilise concealer. I'g trying to practise some problem solving since I'm having some issues with breakouts, and was wondering if maybe this could be contributing?

It'south non enough to remove all my makeup. Even if I wash twice consecutively with the CeraVe hydrating, in that location will be some trace remaining when I swipe with witch hazel afterwards. I at present do a mineral oil massage to remove makeup first, and so launder with the CeraVe and I don't have any balance after that.

I use it and it removes my makeup very well. I rubbed my confront on a white towel to check and I utilize a toner afterward. Makeup was gone. When I wearable makeup, I habiliment a full face usually- so at that place's a lot to get rid of.

level 2

I use it to take off all of my make upwards at the cease of the day and it works fine. I'll usually do 2 washes so moisturize later.

I've been wondering the same affair since I just use mineral makeup. I don't feel similar I need to use an oil to remove it, merely what practise I know.

level 2

I would swipe with a cotton pad or washcloth after y'all cleanse to see if you're actually getting everything off.

P.S. All makeup is technically "mineral" makeup. ;)

I asked this aforementioned question but in regard to cetaphil which is too a gentle cleanser. I was told it is not effective in removing makeup and I was advised to try babe oil to remove the makeup then cleanse. I did this for iii days and am currently dealing with a breakout considering of it, so be cautious. I'yard still trying to decide what remover I should employ for oily/acne prone skin.

I read on SCA that the baby oil has fragrance which might exist irritating if you use that at a mineral oil. Cheers for the heads up!

I think the type of makeup you apply makes a difference as well- I use Bare Minerals (the only i that doesn't interruption me out) and it comes off rather like shooting fish in a barrel. I do utilise makeup remover wipes for my eye makeup.

Is it taking off all of your makeup? If so, then it's fine. If not, you need a little something more.

level 2

I approximate information technology is, I don't vesture much then I can't actually come across it at the end of the day.

I use information technology later OCM. I apply oil to loosen upwardly the makeup wipe it all off with a moisture washcloth. Then I cleanse with the hydrating cleanser. My face couldn't experience cleaner later.

level ane

I use the cerave foaming cleanser (its a thicker gel like cleanser) to take off my makeup then when I'm not wearing whatsoever makeup I employ the hydrating cleanser. I take success with merely the cleanser and cold water. :)

level ane

Information technology doesn't have off all of mine. Information technology does pretty adept on the skin only mascara no way. I use mineral oil for that.

level 1

You lot're probably fine, since y'all don't use a lot. Removing with cleanser, I find, doesn't actually piece of work equally well as I'd similar information technology to, so I employ cotton balls soaked in infant oil.

I don't use a lot either, simply I practise wear eye makeup so I have to remove it separately!

level one

It definitely isn't enough for me. I need to utilize a wipe or cold cream beforehand. Then again, I avert any hard rubbing or abrasive textures on my face and then I tend to cleanse real gently.

level i

It doesn't take all mine off. I utilise a makeup remover textile first and then wash with the cleanser and it works great. Sometimes I use witch hazel as a 3rd footstep if my peel is feeling extra gross and that volition def get every last scrap off.
